ABOUT ME
A lifelong passion on two wheels
For over 10 years, I’ve been professionally involved in the world of bicycles — but my journey began long before that. I was just 7 years old when my father bought me my first bike: a road bike far too big for a child my size. Neither of us knew much about cycling back then, and learning to ride that bike on my own, falling and getting up again, was both a challenge and a defining experience in my life.
Thanks to my curious and determined nature, I quickly learned to ride — and from that moment on, my bike became my best friend. Alongside my closest friend, we explored every corner of our city on two wheels. There probably wasn’t a street or path we didn’t ride.
Of course, with so many long rides came mechanical issues. Back then, there was no internet, no AI to ask. Sometimes we asked local bike shops for advice, other times we relied on trial and error. My curiosity helped me learn quickly — I even opened up a my bike’s freewheel at the age of 8 just to understand how it worked. I had no special tools, just a desire to learn.
Over the years, we got creative. I still remember wiring a small red-painted light to turn on when the brake pads touched the rim — a DIY brake light invention born from childhood imagination.
That passion has stayed with me ever since. To me, bicycles are the most beautiful, simplest, and most durable mechanical inventions ever made.
Around 10 years ago, I left behind other professional paths and chose to follow what I truly love: working as a bicycle technician. I already had the bikes, the passion, and the friends — and those friends often came to me for help because they weren’t happy with the service they were getting elsewhere. One day, a friend said: *“Why don’t you just do this as your job?”* And just like that, I found myself turning a passion into a profession.
Today, I restore bikes, give them new life, and add value to theirs. I don’t believe in “old” bikes — only neglected ones. With care and attention, every bike can shine again.
I love what I do, and that brings me real happiness.
And I truly believe this: cycling is one of the healthiest forms of exercise, and those who love bicycles will live longer.
I’m always here and ready to help fellow riders.
